Ice cream lovers can now savor the best frozen treats in Northwest Ohio with the Toledo Ice Cream Passport!

Passport holders can enjoy a self-guided tour over 12 weeks, visiting at least a dozen hand-selected ice cream shops. At each stop, check in for a frozen treat and receive a punch on your Passport. The more locations you visit, the more entries you’ll earn for a chance to win prizes.

Before planning your tour, please review participating locations, along with the specific days and hours when Passports are accepted. Note: Ice Cream Passport hours may differ from regular business hours.

Upon arrival, present your Passport to staff to receive your punch and one participating item. Passports may only be used once per location—no multiple redemptions permitted. Guests can also scan the QR code at each location to check in and enter the prize drawing(s).

Giveaway

Toledo Ice Cream Passport guests can enter to win two (2) tickets to Taste of Levis in September. Scan the QR code at each location to enter the giveaway. Multiple entries at a single location will disqualify you from the giveaway.

Ordering your Ice Cream Passport

Click the Buy Passport button on May 1 on this site to purchase your Toledo Ice Cream Passport.

All passports will be mailed to the address provided.

Each ice cream shop on the tour, including the location, map, and times when Passport holders can visit will be on the website.

Toledo Ice Cream Passport sales begin May 1, 2026 and will continue until sold out, based on availability.

The tour timeframe begins June 1, 2026 and will run through Aug 31, 2026. Passports cannot be used before June 1, 2026.

Be sure to check available days and participating hours for each ice cream shop. Plan your tour itinerary accordingly.

How do I plan my tour?

Look at the online Ice Cream Passport Map to review locations. Check each ice cream listing for the days/hours available for visits to determine your own itinerary. Please note that Ice Cream Passport Hours are not always the same as hours open.

What are the ice cream shops going to serve?

Every ice cream shop will serve one frozen treat or menu item per passport – whether it’s a scoop, cone, shake or a specialty item… that is determined by the ice cream shop.

Are the ice cream shops takeout, sit-down or both?

Every participating ice cream shop will provide their own experience. Some are takeout only. Others may have a dine-in option with tables or counter service.

What about ice cream shops with multiple locations?

Even though multiple locations for one ice cream shop might be available, your passport is only good for one. Please check the address of participating locations.

Are other menu items included on the tour?

Other menu items are not included on the tour, but guests are welcome (and encouraged) to purchase additional items available at each ice cream shop.

Are there age restrictions?

There are no age restrictions for redeeming your Toledo Ice Cream Passport item(s). Make it a fun day (or night) with friends, head out on your own, or choose to do the event as a family. Contests & giveaways may have separate age restrictions. View contest details for more information.
