Grand Marshalls: Libby Servais & Stephan Stubbins

Libby Servais and Stephan Stubbins are a Broadway power couple that fell in love on stage and have been together ever since.

Servais grew up in the Toledo area and went to Maumee High School. From an early age, her dream was to perform on Broadway and her dream came true when she played the iconic role of Glinda on Broadway in the hit show “Wicked.” She was also a member of the original Broadway cast of the show, “Lysistrata Jones,” has been featured on TV on NBC and MTV, and has had the honor of sharing the stage with Broadway legends including Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Joel Grey, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, to name a few.

Stubbins, also from Ohio, made his Broadway debut in the hit show “Mary Poppins.” He’s the co-founder of the Broadway Under the Stars concert series in wine country, for which he was named as a “40 Under 40.” As a performer he has sung an opening act solo for Frank Sinatra, headlined an opening act for Rita Moreno, and has worked with entertainment legends on and offstage including Dick Van Dyke, Ben Vereen, Sutton Foster, and Conan O’Brien.

Both have played many roles in their career, but their favorite role is that of parents to their two year old boy, Elliott James Stubbins.

Servais and Stubbins have been touring the country and the world with their two person show “Broadway in Love” (BroadwayInLove.com) and are performing in the Toledo area this December in their holiday show “A Musical Merry Christmas” at the Maumee Indoor Theater. With hit songs, community tributes, ugly sweaters, santa, and special guest stars, this show is the perfect way for families to celebrate the holidays in Toledo. Tickets are on sale now at AMusicalMerryChristmas.com
